Whilst I set up this new site over the next few weeks, you can see all of my carvings on my period furniture website: LineAndBerry.com

"Both the pineapple and the monogram sign have arrived. I am thrilled beyond words. They are beautiful. I love the detail of the pieces, the gilding, the quality of the carving ... Exceptional. They have a kind of tactility, I love the look and the feel.
I could not wait to show my daughter her gift, so we viewed it together over the web. She loved the carving. I am not exaggerating, my twenty-two year old cried.
Thank you so much for your effort and hard work. Your use of your talent, your gift, on my behalf is a Great Blessing to me.
The progress on the eagle is amazing. I cannot wait to see the finished product."

"I am at a loss for words. Perfection does not seem a strong enough word for the beauty that came in a custom made box. The desk you made for me is a magnificent piece of craftsmanship - a subtly beautiful piece that I will admire, use, and enjoy every day for the rest of my life. It is exactly what I wanted in every way. Thank you so very much."

Finish options for carvings

There are 5 basic options for finishing a carving:
1. 24 karat Gold Leaf - this is very bright and shiny. Gold leaf is dazzling when it reflects sunlight.
2. Burnished, antiqued, or aged gold leaf - this can be achieved to create anything from a subtle burnished look to decrease the sheen all the way to an authentic 200 year old original antique aesthetic.
3. Natural - No gold leaf is applied so the natural wood grain shows through. This also can be antiqued to any degree desired.
4. Painted - Bellamy painted some of his eagles white. This is a clean and crisp look.
5. "White Gold" - this is gold leaf alloyed with silver. I had a recent order from Vineyard Vines for a whale carving in white gold. I will post the photo soon.
Here are examples of each of the above......
